The electricity account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $100. I have never been late before a reduction in hours.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $10 first, which I don't have.
I live with a newborn, and going through the cold months without electricity isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Amit's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.

Small update. $131 so far, I met with the utility company and confirmed the amounts.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($83 in total) we've started the first stage. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
