Legal aid is overbooked; a few hours of professional help would change the outcome for Themba.

I'm facing a debt-collection lawsuit I believe is invalid, with a hearing on October. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer.
I'm looking for a qualified immigration lawyer licensed in Gauteng who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee.
I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in Soweto or meet online.
I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist.
Thank you for reading my story.

Thinking of you. Hope this works out for you. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Greetings from Saint-Étienne
Rooting for you, Themba. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I have a 7 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless.
Hang in there, Themba. Your post was clear and honest. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home
