Does anyone know an immigration lawyer willing to help for free? Kylie, San Diego
Kylie is facing a debt-collection lawsuit I believe is invalid and can't afford a lawyer; an immigration lawyer willing to review the case for free could make the difference.

I'm facing a debt-collection lawsuit I believe is invalid, with a hearing on July. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer.
I'm looking for a qualified immigration lawyer licensed in California who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee.
I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in San Diego or meet online.
I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

hang in there, Kylie. This could happen to any of us. Greetings from Hồ Chí Minh City
Thanks for sharing this, Kylie. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Love from Los Angeles.
