Frank is facing a visa refusal appeal and can't afford a lawyer; a tenant-rights lawyer willing to review the case for free could make the difference.

I'm facing a visa refusal appeal, with a hearing on November. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer. I'm looking for a qualified tenant-rights lawyer licensed in California who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee. I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in San Diego or meet online. I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist. Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

  • I hope things turn around soon. Greetings from Warsaw!

    • Wishing you the best, Frank. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out.

      • So sorry you're going through this, Frank. Hope this works out for you. All the best
