Does anyone know a tenant-rights lawyer willing to help for free? Aria, Aurora
Legal aid is overbooked; a few hours of professional help would change the outcome for Aria.

I'm facing a benefits termination I'm appealing, with a hearing on September. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer.
I'm looking for a qualified tenant-rights lawyer licensed in Illinois who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee.
I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in Aurora or meet online.
I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist.
Thank you so much.

Hope it all works out. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 13 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
Thinking of you, Aria. Looking forward to the next update. Love from Nashik.
