Does anyone know a family-law attorney willing to help for free? Gerardo, Miami
Gerardo is facing a custody dispute and can't afford a lawyer; a family-law attorney willing to review the case for free could make the difference.

I'm facing a custody dispute, with a hearing on October. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer.
I'm looking for a qualified family-law attorney licensed in Florida who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee.
I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in Miami or meet online.
I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Good luck, Gerardo. I hope things turn around soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Keep going, Gerardo. Your post was clear and honest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
Keep going, Gerardo. It takes guts to ask. Well done.
Sending strength, Gerardo. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
Sending strength. Shared it with a few friends. Thinking of Miami.
