Does anyone know a disability-rights advocate willing to help for free? Mason, San Jose
Mason is facing a debt-collection lawsuit I believe is invalid and can't afford a lawyer; a disability-rights advocate willing to review the case for free could make the difference.

I'm facing a debt-collection lawsuit I believe is invalid, with a hearing on November. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer.
I'm looking for a qualified disability-rights advocate licensed in California who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee.
I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in San Jose or meet online.
I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist.
Thank you so much.

sending good thoughts. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Greetings from Columbus.
