I'm facing a custody dispute, with a hearing on January. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer. I'm looking for a qualified disability-rights advocate licensed in Manitoba who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee. I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in Winnipeg or meet online. I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist. I hope life is good to you.

  • This could happen to any of us. Sent it to 25 people at work. Take care

    • Take care. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Wish I lived closer to Milan so I could bring a meal. Take care.

      • Shared it with a few friends. After 19 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
