Does anyone know a disability-rights advocate willing to help for free? Christian, Los Angeles
Christian is facing a visa refusal appeal and cannot afford a lawyer; a disability-rights advocate willing to review the case for free could make the difference.

I'm facing a visa refusal appeal, with a hearing on February. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer.
I'm looking for a qualified disability-rights advocate licensed in California who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee.
I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in Los Angeles or meet online.
I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Sending strength, Christian. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Sent it to 14 people at work.
You're not alone, Christian. Hope this works out for you. Put this on a community board in Corpus Christi this morning. Take care.
Wishing you peace, Christian. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes.
