Does anyone know a disability-rights advocate willing to help for free? Christian, Christchurch
Legal aid is overbooked; a few hours of professional help would change the outcome for Christian.

I'm facing an unpaid wages claim, with a hearing on June. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer.
I'm looking for a qualified disability-rights advocate licensed in Canterbury who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee.
I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in Christchurch or meet online.
I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Hope this works out for you. After 6 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
