Dimas's final semester of an electrical engineering diploma in Jakarta
Dimas is one semester away from finishing an electrical engineering diploma but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $350.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an electrical engineering diploma at Jakarta Polytechnic, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $350.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.8 average, and my professor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $350 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $25
• Outstanding tuition balance: $290
• Textbooks and materials: $35
Thanks for reading all this.

Wishing you the best, Dimas. Study hard! The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Dimas.
Exam and lab fees is $25 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Thanks for looking so closely.
