Delphine needs my taxi repaired to get back to work in Strasbourg
Without my taxi Delphine can't work; a $950 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my taxi. 6 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $950. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $950 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $120
• gearbox replacement (parts): $630
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $200

so sorry you're going through this, Delphine. Shared this with my family. Blessings.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Delphine.
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. towing and inspection is the biggest at $120. Good question.
Keep going. Hope this works out for you. We're a small family in Nagpur but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Strasbourg

Thinking of you, Delphine. It takes guts to ask. Well done
hope it all works out. Hope you make a strong comeback. My neighbor in Corpus Christi donated after I showed her your page.
Sending strength, Delphine. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
thanks for sharing this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't be hard on yourself for asking!
Shared this with my family. Love from Lecce
You're not alone, Delphine. It takes guts to ask. Well done
good luck. I hope things turn around soon. After 30 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Strasbourg.
