Deepa needs a lift to Madurai General Hospital - can you help one day a week?

A rota of drivers to Madurai General Hospital would keep Deepa on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Deepa has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to Madurai General Hospital alone. After an eyesight problem, Deepa can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 35 km each way. Deepa is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
