Could you share an hour a week with Winnie?

An hour a week, a chat, and a cup of tea - that's all Winnie is asking for.

I'm writing for my neighbor Winnie, who's 77. Winnie lives alone in Kasarani, and lost a son last year. The nearest family lives 541 kilometers away. Winnie loves baking, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Tuesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. Thanks for being kind about this.
