Could you share an hour a week with Rahim?
An hour a week, a chat, and a cup of tea - that's all Rahim is asking for.

I'm writing for my neighbor Rahim, who's 94. Rahim lives alone in Gazipur, and lost a son last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country.
Rahim loves local history, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Saturday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Thank you so much.

this could happen to any of us. Love from Taguig.
Hang in there. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in St. Louis this morning.
it takes guts to ask. Well done. Put this on a community board in Entebbe this morning.
Take care, Rakib. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Savar
So sorry you're going through this. Wishing Rahim a smooth procedure and a full recovery.
