Could you share an hour a week with Rafael?
Rafael lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Rafael, who's 92. Rafael lives alone in Cebu City, and lost a son last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country.
Rafael loves opera, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Tuesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Best of luck. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Put this on a community board in Girona this morning.
Sending good thoughts, Gemma. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Hang in there, Gemma. This could happen to any of us. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Blessings
I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Greetings from Giza.
