Ikeja
I'm writing for my neighbor Queen, who's 73. Queen lives alone in Ikeja, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives a long flight away. Queen loves local history, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Sunday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Sending good thoughts, Obinna. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Love from Dallas.

      • Thinking of you, Obinna. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Wish I lived closer to Joliet so I could bring a meal.

        • wishing you peace, Obinna. Hope the doctors have good news. I hope December is when things finally get easier. Love from Kraków.
