Could you share an hour a week with Paloma?
Paloma lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Paloma, who's 72. Paloma lives alone in Ciudad de México, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives 268 kilometers away.
Paloma loves chess, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Thursday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Shared it with a few friends. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money
Hope things get better soon, Raúl. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care
Wishing you peace. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Blessings.
