Could you share an hour a week with Maja?
Maja lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Maja, who's 78. Maja lives alone in Stockholm, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country.
Maja loves old films, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Sunday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Glad we found this place.

Rooting for you. Shared it with a few friends. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. God bless.
sending love, Eva. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I went through something like this 7 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings!
wishing you peace. Your post was clear and honest. Greetings from Salem.
