Could you share an hour a week with Lydia?
Lydia lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Lydia, who's 72. Lydia lives alone in Adelaide, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives 509 kilometers away.
Lydia loves crossword puzzles, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Thursday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Wishing you the best. Hope you get there. Put this on a community board in Guarulhos this morning.
Thinking of you and your family, Luke. I hope things turn around soon. Don't give up. Greetings from Taguig.
