Could you share an hour a week with Lamine?

I'm writing for my neighbor Lamine, who's 80. Lamine lives alone in Lyon, and lost a son last year. The nearest family lives 810 kilometers away. Lamine loves crossword puzzles, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Thursday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. Thank you so much.
