Could you share an hour a week with Kunle?

An hour a week, a chat, and a cup of tea - that's all Kunle is asking for.

Gwagwalada
I'm writing for my neighbor Kunle, who's 76. Kunle lives alone in Gwagwalada, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country. Kunle loves gardening, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Saturday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
