Could you share an hour a week with Kato?
Looking for a friendly person in Mwanza to visit Kato once a week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Kato, who's 79. Kato lives alone in Mwanza, and lost a son last year. The nearest family lives 264 kilometers away.
Kato loves knitting, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Saturday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
