Could you share an hour a week with İsmail?
Looking for a friendly person in Çankaya to visit İsmail once a week.
🇹🇷 Çankaya, Ankara, Türkiye1,532 views
I'm writing for my neighbor İsmail, who's 90. İsmail lives alone in Çankaya, and lost a son last year. The nearest family lives a long flight away.
İsmail loves cricket, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Wednesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

get well soon. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless.
Wishing you peace, Kübra. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Greetings from Accra
So sorry you're going through this. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'm in farming myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
wishing you peace, Kübra. I hope things turn around soon. All the best.
Good luck, Kübra. This could happen to any of us. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.
You're not alone, Kübra. Shared it with a few friends. It's not much but it's yours.
Thinking of you and your family, Kübra. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest
Sending love, Kübra. Hope the doctors have good news. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Amsterdam

stay strong. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. All the best.
Rooting for you, Kübra. Your post was clear and honest. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best.
