Could you share an hour a week with Hoàng?
Hoàng lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Hoàng, who's 84. Hoàng lives alone in Hồ Chí Minh City, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives several hours away.
Hoàng loves opera, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Friday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. My neighbor in Mumbai donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Hồ Chí Minh City
hope it all works out, Đạt. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. All the best.
Rooting for you, Đạt. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. I have a 7 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
Sending strength, Đạt. Wishing Hoàng a smooth procedure and a full recovery.
Sending good thoughts. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 8 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
