Could you share an hour a week with Fábio?
An hour a week, a chat, and a cup of tea - that's all Fábio is asking for.

I'm writing for my neighbor Fábio, who's 88. Fábio lives alone in Niterói, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives several hours away.
Fábio loves local history, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Monday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Thinking of you and your family, Fabiana. Wishing Fábio a smooth procedure and a full recovery.
Keep going, Fabiana. Hope this works out for you.
Wishing you peace, Fabiana. It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 18 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Uberlândia.
Rooting for you, Fabiana. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I'll check back for the next update. Greetings from Mwanza
