Could you share an hour a week with Comfort?
Comfort lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Comfort, who's 76. Comfort lives alone in Gwagwalada, and lost a son last year. The nearest family lives a long flight away.
Comfort loves knitting, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Wednesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
I hope life is good to you.

Looking forward to the next update. We're a small family in Cairo but we're thinking of you. Love from Cairo
Sending love, Ifeanyi. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. After 15 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Gwagwalada.
