Could you share an hour a week with Chloe?

Chloe lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Chloe, who's 92. Chloe lives alone in San Diego, and lost a son last year. The nearest family lives 545 kilometers away. Chloe loves chess, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Thursday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. Thanks for being kind about this.
