Could you share an hour a week with Aravind?
Aravind lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Aravind, who's 75. Aravind lives alone in Howrah, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country.
Aravind loves opera, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Thursday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'll check back for the next update. Love from Seoul.
I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. I went through something like this 5 years ago and strangers helped me out.
