Could you mentor a retail manager breaking into healthcare administration?

A mentor in healthcare administration could help Mazen with a portfolio, interviews and first-job strategy.

I have worked as a retail manager for 10 years, and I'm 48. After my children starting school, I decided to move into healthcare administration, and I have completed an online certificate. What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my CV and LinkedIn profile, a realistic view of the job market in Giza, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming. I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for four months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time. All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled. Thank you so much.

  • Sending strength. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. We're a small family in Bornova but we're thinking of you. Love from Bornova.

    • Thinking of you and your family, Mazen. Small businesses are the heart of Giza. Hope you're open again soon. Greetings from Ikeja.

Hope the shop reopens soon. It's not much but it's yours. Blessings.

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Please keep us posted. All the best

Sending strength, Mazen. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.

            • Gave what I could, wish it was more. Put this on a community board in Pretoria this morning.
