Could you mentor a farmer breaking into cybersecurity?
A mentor in cybersecurity could help Seyi with a portfolio, interviews and first-job strategy.

I have worked as a farmer for 17 years, and I'm 29. After a health scare, I decided to move into cybersecurity, and I have completed an online certificate.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my resume and portfolio, a realistic view of the job market in Lagos, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for three months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
- effort
- 45 minutes a month
- format
- Online or by phone
- skills
- industry experience, patience, honest feedback

your post was clear and honest. My neighbor in Essen donated after I showed her your page. All the best.
so sorry you're going through this, Seyi. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'm in construction myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless!
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Wish I lived closer to Shreveport so I could bring a meal!
Take care, Seyi. Shared it with a few friends. I'll check back for the next update.
hope it all works out, Seyi. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'm in hospitality myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Blessings.
