Could you mentor a factory operator breaking into software testing?
Lawrence, a factory operator, is retraining for software testing and is looking for a mentor for monthly calls over four months.

I have worked as a factory operator for 12 years, and I'm 27. After my children starting school, I decided to move into software testing, and I have completed a self-study course with a project portfolio.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my CV and LinkedIn profile, a realistic view of the job market in Scotland, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for four months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
Thank you for reading my story.

this could happen to any of us. Put this on a community board in Makati this morning. God bless.
best of luck, Lawrence. Your post was clear and honest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
