Could you mentor a factory operator breaking into accounting?
Seeking an experienced accounting professional for guidance on the transition from factory operator.
🇺🇸 United States953 views
I have worked as a factory operator for 10 years, and I'm 48. After the factory closing, I decided to move into accounting, and I have completed a bootcamp.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my CV and LinkedIn profile, a realistic view of the job market in Texas, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for six months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
Glad we found this place.

stay strong. Shared this with my family. I hope April is when things finally get easier.
Hang in there. Looking forward to the next update. Wish I lived closer to Badagry so I could bring a meal. God bless.
wishing you peace, Jacob. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Take care.
Thanks for sharing this. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home
