Could you host Waylon? A room for 2 months
After my landlord selling the building, Waylon needs a safe, quiet room in Mississauga for 4 months while getting back on their feet.

After my landlord selling the building, I'm temporarily without a home. I work as a retail supervisor in Mississauga and I have a steady income, but I can't find a place that will let me in without the first month, a deposit and references that I'm in the middle of replacing.
I'm looking for a spare room for 4 months. I can pay $270 a month toward bills, I'm tidy and quiet, and I'd be happy to help with cooking, shopping or yard work. I have no pets, I don't smoke, and I have a landlord and employer references.
I understand that inviting a stranger into your home is a big step. I'd be glad to meet in a public place first and to share my work details.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
- effort
- 2–4 months
- format
- In person in Mississauga
- skills
- a spare room, hospitality

Sending love, Waylon. Shared it with a few friends. Wish I lived closer to Embakasi so I could bring a meal
Thinking of you and your family, Waylon. This could happen to any of us. Take care
Thanks for sharing this, Waylon. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor in Santos donated after I showed her your page. All the best.
I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. I'll check back for the next update. Greetings from Johannesburg.
Gave what I could, wish it was more. Thinking of Mississauga
