Could you host Rey? A room for 3 months
Hosting Rey would give a hardworking a line cook the stability to find a new place.

After being laid off and unable to cover rent, I'm temporarily without a home. I work as a line cook in Newcastle and I have a steady income, but I can't find a place that will let me in without the first month, a deposit and references that I'm in the middle of replacing.
I'm looking for a spare room for 3 months. I can pay $175 a month toward bills, I'm tidy and quiet, and I'd be happy to help with cooking, shopping or yard work. I have no pets, I don't smoke, and I have a landlord and employer references.
I understand that inviting a stranger into your home is a big step. I'd be glad to meet in a public place first and to share my work details.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Thinking of you. Your post was clear and honest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Hang in there. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
Sending strength. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.
Keep going, Rey. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. I have a 15 year old who wants to send good wishes too. All the best
you're not alone. Hope you get there. Put this on a community board in Multan this morning. All the best.
You're not alone, Rey. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Take care.
Good luck, Rey. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.

Hang in there. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'm in logistics myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
Hang in there, Rey. I hope things turn around soon. My neighbor in Madrid donated after I showed her your page. Greetings from Madrid
