After a flood that wrecked my apartment, I'm temporarily without a home. I work as a line cook in Cairo and I have a steady income, but I can't find a place that will let me in without the first month, a deposit and references that I'm in the middle of replacing.
I'm looking for a spare room for 3 months. I can pay $25 a month toward bills, I'm tidy and quiet, and I'd be happy to help with cooking, shopping or yard work. I have no pets, I don't smoke, and I have three personal and work references.
I understand that inviting a stranger into your home is a big step. I'd be glad to meet in a public place first and to share my work details.
Thank you for reading my story.

Take care. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Swansea
Rooting for you, Nabil. Looking forward to the next update. Put this on a community board in Cairo this morning. Greetings from Cairo.
Stay strong, Nabil. Your post was clear and honest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Fort Collins.
sending strength. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My neighbor in Pittsburgh donated after I showed her your page. All the best.
Thinking of you and your family, Nabil. I hope things turn around soon. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out.
