After my landlord selling the building, I'm temporarily without a home. I work as a hospital cleaner in Palmira and I have a steady income, but I can't find a place that will let me in without the first month, a deposit and references that I'm in the middle of replacing.
I'm looking for a spare room for 3 months. I can pay $95 a month toward bills, I'm tidy and quiet, and I'd be happy to help with cooking, shopping or yard work. I have no pets, I don't smoke, and I have three personal and work references.
I understand that inviting a stranger into your home is a big step. I'd be glad to meet in a public place first and to share my work details.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Hang in there. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out
Wishing you the best, Elena. Hope this works out for you. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. All the best
Keep going. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. God bless.
Thinking of you. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Entebbe
Good luck, Elena. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Love from Adama
