Could you foster Willow? Amparo is going into treatment

A short-term foster for a calm labrador in Vigo while the owner recovers.

I'm going into a rehabilitation unit on Monday, for about 5 weeks, and I have no family nearby to look after Willow, my four-year-old labrador. Willow is calm and happy with a daily walk. I'm looking for a temporary foster within Vigo. I'll provide food, bedding and medication, and cover the vet costs. Willow is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. I'd love to share regular updates and photos, and I'd love to pay it forward by volunteering at the shelter when I'm better. Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

  • Take care. I hope things turn around soon. Wish I lived closer to Haarlem so I could bring a meal. Greetings from London

    • Sending good thoughts, Amparo. Your post was clear and honest. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best

        • Give Willow a hug from me. Blessings.

Hope things get better soon, Amparo. Hope this works out for you. After 24 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
