I'm going into inpatient treatment on Tuesday, for about 6 weeks, and I have no family nearby to look after Coco, my two-year-old tabby cat. Coco is a lap-cat who needs a quiet home. I'm looking for a temporary foster within São Paulo. I'll provide food, bedding and medication, and cover the vet costs. Coco is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. I'd love to share regular updates and photos, and I'd love to pay it forward by volunteering at the shelter when I'm better. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Take care, Ricardo. Your post was clear and honest. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.

        • Hope it all works out, Ricardo. Looking forward to the next update. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from San Diego

          • Sending good thoughts, Ricardo. Shared it with a few friends. After 29 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care.
