Could I borrow a set of ladders for a weekend? (Ikeja)
I'm building fitting out a small stall for my business and need to borrow a set of ladders for a single afternoon. I'll return it clean and on time.

I'm Paul in Ikeja. I'm fitting out a small stall for my business, and I need a set of ladders for a single afternoon. Buying one for a single job doesn't make sense and the rental price is more than I can manage right now.
If you have one gathering dust in the garage, I'd be grateful to borrow it. I'll collect it from you, look after it, clean it and bring it back on the day we agree. I'll leave a deposit if you'd like, and I'm happy to meet somewhere public the first time.
If you could also show me how to use it safely, that would be an extra kindness.
Many thanks, and I'm happy to answer any questions.

I have one in the garage that I have not used in years. You are welcome to borrow it. Flexible on timing.
