Córdoba storm relief - Marketplace village
The storm damaged 13 homes in Marketplace village. We're raising funds for repairs, supplies and temporary shelter.

The storm hit Marketplace village on 25 August. My home was one of 13 damaged, and 9 families are still in temporary shelter at a mosque and church hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $200
• Food parcels for displaced families: $280
• Roofing sheets and timber: $910
• Clean water and purification supplies: $260

It's all in the list in the story. bedding, blankets and mattresses is the big one at $200, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Happy to explain more.
