Computer science help for Patricia, preparing for the GCSE exam
Online or in-person tutoring in computer science for a bright student in Durham.

My niece, Patricia, is 11 and in the final year of school. Patricia loves school but computer science has been a struggle since the school was closed during the move. The GCSE exam is in June.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Durham or online, for about twelve weeks.
Patricia is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in computer science, you could change the course of Patricia's year.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

You're not alone, Pilar. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Thinking of Durham.
Rooting for you. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. After 25 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
