Christian is working hard on computer science but can't afford a tutor; 1 hours a week until the SAT would help enormously.

My nephew, Christian, is 15 and in Grade 11. Christian loves school but computer science has been a struggle since the school was closed during the strikes. The SAT exam is in September. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Toronto or online, for about sixteen weeks. Christian is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in computer science, you could change the course of Christian's year. I hope life is good to you.

  • Hang in there. I hope things turn around soon. I have a 11 year old who wants to send good wishes too. All the best.

    • So sorry you're going through this, Eliana. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Blessings.

      • Thinking of you, Eliana. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out.
