Basma is working hard on computer science but can't afford a tutor; 2 hours a week until the GCSE would help enormously.

My younger sister, Basma, is 15 and in Year 10. Basma loves school but computer science has been a struggle since the school was closed during the floods. The GCSE exam is in October. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in 6th of October City or online, for about sixteen weeks. Basma is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in computer science, you could change the course of Basma's year. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
