Companionship wanted: Weston's cricket and a cup of tea
Weston lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Weston, who's 75. Weston lives alone in Winston-Salem, and lost a son last year. The nearest family lives 462 kilometers away.
Weston loves cricket, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Saturday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Sending good thoughts. Wishing Weston a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Thinking of Winston-Salem.
Wishing you the best. Shared it with a few friends. Greetings from Madrid.
Take care. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
