Companionship wanted: Rashed's baking and a cup of tea
Rashed lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Rashed, who's 82. Rashed lives alone in Narayanganj, and lost a son last year. The nearest family lives 330 kilometers away.
Rashed loves baking, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Sunday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
