Companionship wanted: Jocelyn's chess and a cup of tea

Looking for a friendly person in Miami to visit Jocelyn once a week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Jocelyn, who's 93. Jocelyn lives alone in Miami, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives 577 kilometers away. Jocelyn loves chess, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Saturday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. Thanks for being kind about this.
