Clear storm damage from Sofía's garden in San Diego
Sofía, 71, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 71 and I have lived in this house in San Diego for 27 years. After the storm in September, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Sending love, Sofía. Your post was clear and honest. Love from San Diego.
So sorry you're going through this, Sofía. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We're a small family in Patna but we're thinking of you. Blessings
Hope things get better soon, Sofía. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
