Clear storm damage from Shirin's garden in Bhopal
Shirin, 84, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 84 and I have lived in this house in Bhopal for 41 years. After the storm in June, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Sending good thoughts. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I hope August is when things finally get easier.
Rooting for you. Looking forward to the next update. Sent it to 14 people at work. All the best.
keep going, Shirin. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Take care.
Thanks for sharing this. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor in Lagos donated after I showed her your page

Hope it all works out, Shirin. Wishing Shirin a smooth procedure and a full recovery.
Thanks for sharing this, Shirin. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
Take care. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't give up. Blessings
