Clear storm damage from Sheila's garden in Quezon City
Sheila, 86, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 86 and I have lived in this house in Quezon City for 35 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Naivasha
wishing Sheila a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Don't give up.
Wishing you peace. Your post was clear and honest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Quezon City!
look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best.
Rooting for you, Sheila. Shared this with my family.
